Tadka On a Koshimbir (Salad)
So what is jivanta phodni / live tempering?
Jiavnat phodni or live tempering which is also called pali phodni is all about pouring flavor-infused hot oil onto your dish.
Till now we have performed tadkas at the beginning of the cooking process. but this techniques requires adding tadka at the END. This radically changes the flavours it adds to the dish.

Today we will prepare a quick koshimbir or salad and then pour the tadka on top of it. Besides salads, you can use this technique for chutneys, dals, and kadhis. And it comes in very handy when you want to impress your guests!
